Wednesday, November 29, 2023, at the Pradit Choeijit Lecture Center, Faculty of Science, PSU, received an honor from the central government. International Peace Foundation (IPF) with the support of Mitsui Fudosan Company Limited, Dusit Thani Hotel & Resort, Kasikorn Bank and BMW. Organized a special lecture by Prof. Takaaki Kajita, a professor who received the Nobel Prize in Physics in 2015, on the topic “The importance of science for peace-building” under the JAPAN-ASEAN BRIDGES Event Series on the occasion of the 50th anniversary celebration.

Japan-ASEAN relations And on the occasion of the 55th anniversary of the founding of Prince of Songkla University in 2023, Asst. Prof. Dr. Niwat Kaewpradab, President of Prince of Songkla University, gave the opening speech. Mr. Uwe Morawetz, Founding Chairman of International Peace Foundation, gave a report. Prof. Dr. Anchana Prathep, Dean of the Faculty of Science, gave a welcome speech along with administrators, faculty, researchers, personnel, students, and students in the area.
