Thailand’s First International Quantum Conference Hosted by PSU

Krabi, Thailand – December 1, 2024 – Prince of Songkla University’s Faculty of Science hosted the inaugural Siam Quantum Science and Technology (SQST-2024) international conference at the Ao Nang Viewla Hotel in Krabi. The conference was graced by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Worawat Meevasana, Head of the Quantum Technology Research Initiative Collaboration, who delivered the opening keynote. Prof. Dr. Anchana Prathep also extended a warm welcome to both domestic and international attendees.

This significant event marks a pivotal moment for Thailand’s research community, underscoring the growing interest and advancements in quantum science. Recognized globally for its potential to revolutionize technology, quantum science is now a focal point for researchers worldwide.
